How It Works

No install. No account. No internet required.

Every SurviveDrive arrives preloaded and ready. How you use it depends on which format you choose.

USB Drive

Plug it into any Windows, Mac, or Linux computer. No install, no drivers — the archive opens and is ready to browse and search immediately.

External HDD

Same plug-and-play experience as the USB Drive, with more capacity for the expanded library and your own files.

Raspberry Pi Kit

A fully self-contained unit with an attached 10" monitor. Connect power and it boots straight into the archive — no computer needed at all.

Getting the most out of your SurviveDrive

  • Store it somewhere accessible — a go-bag, a safe, or wherever your other emergency supplies live.
  • Test it now, before you need it. Plug it in, browse the categories, and get familiar with how it's organized.
  • Add your own documents. The External HDD and Raspberry Pi Kit both have room for family records, ID scans, and personal files.
  • Pair the Pi Kit with a power source. A small solar panel or battery bank keeps it usable even if grid power is out for an extended period.
  • Keep a backup copy. A second SurviveDrive stored in a different location protects you if the first is lost, damaged, or inaccessible.
